Home Gardening and Alternative Energy Awareness Training
This micro-project was conducted in the village of Seenipura among 50 families who were trained and assisted in particular techniques necessary for maintaining home gardens and meeting their everyday energy needs. The training topics entailed composting, organic agriculture, and the use of solar power for cooking instead of firewood and other fuels. Subsequently two solar panels were donated to the community.
